On Tuesday, July 17th at 12:00pm EST, Maria Cardona invites you to join her and a panel of experts as they discuss the underrepresentation of women of color in a variety of policy issues in the United States in a panel titled “Women of Color Policy Series: Our Value, Our Voice.” The panel will take place at The Center for American Progress, and it will be livestreamed here.
Welcoming remarks will be made by Winnie Stachelberg, Executive Vice President for External Affairs at the Center for American Progress, and the Keynote address will be made by Tina Tchen, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the First Lady and the Executive Director of the White House Council on Women and Girls.
Panelists include Eesha Pandit, Executive Director, Men Stopping Violence; Angela Rye, Executive Director and General Counsel, Congressional Black Caucus; and Maria Cardona, Principal, Dewey Square Group. It will be moderated by Jenée Desmond-Harris, corporate lawyer and freelance writer, contributing editor at The Root.
