The American Bar Association Journal published a story on the continued vetting of potential Souter replacements today: “A California legal publication is reporting that two more judges on the so-called Supreme Court shortlist—Sonia Sotomayor and Carlos Moreno—are in contact with the administration as part of its vetting process.

Shifts in the nation’s demographics, especially with regards to the Hispanic population have been recognized in states like California, Texas and Arizona for at least the past two decades.  However,  immigrants from around the world are contributing to the changing face of many other parts of the country.
